A 7 Year Balloon mortgage is a fixed rate loan amortized over 30 years. The interest rate is lower than our Regular 30 year fixed rate because, by the seventh year you must have refinanced or paid off this loan. You may apply to refinance this loan with LANB at any time during the 7 year period.
